Basketball Programs

Everything your kid gets here.

Youth basketball players with their coaches at center court at Next Level Performance in Fort Myers

Most programs will tell you about themselves. Their history, their trophies, their system. We would rather tell you about your kid, because that is the whole point of this place. It is not about us. It is about the kids who walk through the door.

So here it is, plain. This is what a child gets when he plays at Next Level Performance in Fort Myers, from the first step inside the building to the last game of the season.

He is known from the first step in

Every child who walks into our gym gets a dap or a pound. We say his name, and we thank him for being there. At first the kids are confused by it. Then they get it. They are known here.

That starts at the front desk and it never stops. The adults in this building know who your child is, what team he is on, and what he is working on. A parent can drop a kid off here and know we have his back, because he is not a number on a roster to anybody in the room. He is somebody's kid, and he is ours while he is here.

He is coached by people who know his game

The coaches who run his development sessions are the same coaches who watch him in games. That matters more than parents realize. A mistake he makes on Saturday gets fixed on Tuesday, by somebody who saw it happen. Nothing falls through the cracks, because there are no cracks. It is one staff, one building, one plan for your kid.

We develop, we do not train. Training is drills. Development is a player learning the game, making decisions, and building skills that hold up when somebody is guarding him. If you want that philosophy in full, read how a player gets developed from start to finish.

The building celebrates him

Look up when you walk in. The TVs run games, scores, highlights, and reels, and the lobby carries the trophy display. When a kid does something here, it does not disappear when the game ends. It goes up on the screens where his family and his teammates can see it.

Kids check those screens the way adults check their phones. A game MVP. A championship photo. A highlight from the weekend. And at the end of the playoffs, there are rings on the line. Here is what that looks like when a season wraps up:

He gets proof he is getting better

Every league player's stats are tracked in the Next Level app, and parents can see them. We track stats for one reason: to show the development working. Not to chase points. A kid who scores less but defends better, rebounds, and makes the right pass is growing, and the numbers should tell that whole story.

Players also earn badges for milestones and hours put in at the gym, and parents get coach report cards on how their player is progressing. Your kid will know exactly where he stands, and so will you. Nothing is a mystery, and everything is earned.

He gets faster and stronger, steps away

Off the court sits 3,500 square feet of turf and the Redline Athletics speed side of the building. First step, change of direction, strength to finish through contact: that work lives in the same building as the basketball, so a player never has to choose between getting faster and getting better at the game. A kid does not need to play a sport or specialize to benefit from moving well, either. Movement is for everybody.

He plays real games on a real court

Our youth basketball leagues in Fort Myers play full seasons on a 75 by 45 full court with five hoops: 8 guaranteed games plus playoffs, balanced teams built from evaluations, and every game livestreamed so family who cannot be in the gym never miss a minute. And in the corner sits the Dr. Dish shooting machine, feeding shot after shot and counting the makes for any player who wants the extra work.

The building itself is worth its own walk through. Take it in our guide to the basketball facility in Fort Myers where all of this happens under one roof.

He gets one place, start to finish

Add it up and this is the real offer. A little kid can start in our youngest division and be developed in the same building, by the same people, all the way through middle school and high school ball. Parents are not driving gym to gym hoping the pieces connect. The pieces are already connected, because we built youth basketball in Fort Myers to work that way.

Come watch it happen. Book a free trial, stand in the lobby, and see how your kid is greeted when he walks in. That first minute will tell you most of what this page just said.
