Offseason Work
The offseason is where players are made.

Seasons showcase players. Offseasons build them.
What a player does between the last game of one season and the first practice of the next decides what the next season looks like. Coaches know it. College recruiters know it. The players who jump a level almost always made the jump in the months nobody was watching.
What real offseason work looks like
It's not open gym and it's not pickup games with the same habits. Real offseason work is targeted: the weak hand, the pull-up jumper, the first step, the body. Speed, agility, and quickness work so the skills have an athlete underneath them. Shooting volume so the percentage holds when the games count again.
And it's structured — a plan, a coach's eyes, and honest feedback about what isn't good enough yet.
Showcases reward what the offseason built
When showcase season and tryouts come, nobody asks what a player did in June. They just see it: the handle is tighter, the shot is quicker, the decisions are faster. The offseason is invisible — until it's the only thing visible.
That's the work we do at Next Level Performance in Fort Myers: development sessions all week, the Shooting Club for high-rep shooting, SAQ for the athletic base, and coaches who will tell a player the truth about his game and then help him fix it.
Start before you're ready to be seen
The worst time to start offseason work is the week before tryouts. The best time is now — while there's still time for the work to become part of your game.
Your first development session at Next Level is free. Come find out what an offseason with a plan feels like.
