Rec Leagues
Basketball for homeschool families in Fort Myers.

Homeschool families run their own school day, and most of it fits on the kitchen table. Physical education is the line that does not. A driveway hoop and a trip to the park are fine for fresh air, but they are not PE with a plan, and they do not give your child the one thing homeschooling cannot print at home: a gym full of other kids, a coach who knows his name, and a team that expects him.
Daytime basketball that counts as PE
We run homeschool basketball during school hours, when the gym is quiet and the schedule is yours. Our Homeschool Academy and Homeschool PE sessions run $40 a session, and they are structured the way everything here is structured: a coach with a plan, skills taught in order, and kids grouped so everybody is working at the right level. This is not open gym with a whistle. It is physical education with real basketball inside it, which means your child is learning to dribble, pass, shoot, defend, and compete while the PE box gets honestly checked.
Movement matters for every kid, and a child does not need to be headed for a school team to benefit from being coached hard and praised honestly for an hour. Some of our homeschool players fall in love with the game through these sessions. Some just need to move well and be part of a group. Both are welcome, and both get coached like it matters, because to us it does.
The social side is not a side benefit
Ask homeschool parents what they are really buying and most will tell you the truth: other kids. Teammates. Friends who know his name and notice when he is gone. We work with the local homeschool community, including our relationship with Homeschool Rocks, and our gym has become a regular meeting point for families who school at home across Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
Inside the gym, that community runs on something simple. Every child gets a dap or a pound when he walks in, hears his name, and gets thanked when he leaves. Homeschool kids who arrive quiet in week one are running the warm-up lines by week four. Being known is not a small thing for a kid whose classroom is his house.
League play fits the same schedule
When he is ready for games, homeschool players join the same youth basketball leagues as everybody else, placed by age into Spark, Ignite, Ascend, Elevate, or Dominate, with 8 guaranteed games plus playoffs. There is no separate track and no asterisk. He gets evaluated, placed on a balanced team, and coached all season, with his stats tracked in the app like every other player in the building.
For a lot of homeschool families, the league becomes the anchor of the week: a set schedule, a team counting on him, and a Saturday the whole family shows up for.
One building for the whole family
Homeschool families rarely have one child. They have three, at three ages, and a schedule held together with care. That is why it matters that everything sits under one roof in our basketball facility in Fort Myers: the full court, the development sessions, the leagues, the speed side. One trip, one front desk, and every kid in the family known by name. From the first daytime session to league playoffs, it is all part of everything your kid gets here.
A weekday in our gym
This is a camp day in the gym, kids on the floor during school hours, coached and competing. A homeschool session has the same energy, on a schedule built for your family:
If your family schools at home and PE has been the hardest box to fill honestly, come see a session. Watch how the coaches work, how the kids respond, and whether your child walks out wanting to come back. That answer will tell you more than any brochure, ours included.
